Current tallest building in Colombia is Torre Colpatria in Bogotá with height of 196 meters (643 ft). In may 2007 construction of shell of 206 meters (676 ft) high Torre de la Escollera in Cartagena was in advanced phase, but wind storm damaged it, showing its structural failure. The construction was suspended and the shell was dismantled.
